Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1

Also known as pal-GHK and palmitoyl oligopeptide, palmitoyl tripeptide-1 is a synthetic fatty acid-linked peptide that can help repair visible skin damage and strengthen skin’s underlying supportive elements.

It’s categorized as a messenger peptide because of its ability to “tell” skin how to look better, specifically in regard to visibly fading signs of sun damage like wrinkles and rough texture.

Acetyl hexapeptide-1 is a synthetic peptide composed of the amino acid’s alanine, arginine, histidine, leucine, phenylalanine and tryptophan. It helps skin better defend itself from environmental aggressors by virtue of a calming effect.

Acetyl Tetrapeptide-5

Niacinamide

In a 2005 clinical study, the objective was to clinically determine the effect of topical niacinamide on additional skin appearance and property endpoints (wrinkles, yellowing, and elasticity).

Female white subjects (N = 50) with clinical signs of facial photoaging (fine lines and wrinkles, poor texture, and hyperpigmented spots) applied 5% niacinamide to half of the face and its vehicle control to the other half twice daily for 12 weeks (double-blind, left-right randomized). Facial images and instrumental measures were obtained at baseline and at 4-week intervals.

Analyses of the data revealed a variety of significant skin appearance improvement effects for topical niacinamide: reductions in fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmented spots, red blotchiness, and skin sallowness (yellowing). In addition, elasticity (as measured via cutometry) was improved. Corresponding mechanistic information is presented.

Apply morning and evening to face and neck regions after cleansing and applying your serums. This is a moisturiser and designed to be the last product you apply. Exception: If applying an SPF, then your moisturiser will go before the SPF.
